BACKGROUND

Mr. Bernardo Vieira Hess has been Chief Executive Officer at Burger King Holdings Inc. since September 10, 2010. Mr. Hess serves as Chief Executive Officer of Burger King Corporation, a subsidiary of Burger King Holdings Inc. He has been the Chief Executive Officer at ALL - America Latina Logistica Do Brasil S.A. since January 2005. Mr. Hess serves as a Member of Executive Board of All America Latina Logistica S.A. Mr. Hess served as the Chief Executive Officer of All America Latina Logistica S.A. since January 2005. He served as Chief Operating Officer at All America Latina Logistica S.A. since November 2003. He has professional experience in the oil segment and financial markets. Since July 2000, he served as chief financial officer and since January 2002, he served as vice president of marketing at ALL. Mr. Hess joined ALL at the end of 1998 as a Logistics Analyst, subsequently holding various positions: Operational Planning Manager and Commercial Officer, and in 2004, held the position of Director-Superintendent. Prior to joining ALL, Mr. Hess worked at Banco Marka from 1995 to 1996 and prior to that held positions at Banco Nacional, Shell Brazil and BNDES - Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social. Mr. Hess has been a Director of All America Latina Logistica S.A. and ALL - America Latina Logistica Do Brasil S.A. since July 2002. In 2005, he concluded an OPM - Owner/President Management course at Harvard Business School. Mr. Hess holds a BA in Economics from the Pontificia Universidade Católica (Rio de Janeiro), and an MBA from the University of Warwick, in England.
